Minneola sits minutes from our shop, which makes it one of the few places we can genuinely promise a same-week response on most repair work. It is also changing faster than anywhere else in Lake County, and the drywall work is changing with it.
Florida's Turnpike Exit 278 at Hancock Road reset Minneola's trajectory. Hills of Minneola is a master-planned build-out spanning roughly 1,883 acres with well over 2,000 homes delivered and close to 4,000 residential units planned overall, with Meritage, Ashton Woods, D.R. Horton and KB Homes all building into it. The city also sits at one of the highest elevations in Central Florida, so a lot of these homes have vaulted and two-story spaces that flat-terrain subdivisions do not.
Production building at that pace produces a predictable drywall punch list. Seams telegraph on long ceiling runs, corner bead gets thin coverage on outside corners, texture varies between crews on the same street, and the year-one settlement cracks arrive on schedule. Homeowners generally discover it after the builder's warranty crew has been through once.
The other half of Minneola's growth is commercial. Developers have been preparing a roughly 1.4-million-square-foot commerce park in Hills of Minneola, with two warehouse buildings of about 182,700 and 195,320 square feet on roughly 170 acres. That kind of build-out brings office fit-outs, tenant improvements and metal-stud framing work — which we handle alongside the residential side.
Telegraphing seams, thin corner bead and mismatched texture in new Hills of Minneola homes, corrected properly rather than skimmed over.
High ceilings and two-story walls are where poor finishing shows worst. We stage and light these properly so seams do not appear once the sun moves.

Minneola is minutes from our shop, so it gets our quickest response of anywhere we serve. Derek follows up within 24 hours and most on-site estimates happen within 24–48 hours, with same-week repair work commonly available.
Yes. Texture variation between rooms usually means different crews sprayed at different pressures or mixes during the build. We can re-texture the affected rooms to a single consistent finish, or match a new repair into whichever texture is already there.
Height is unforgiving. On vaulted and two-story surfaces the light rakes across the whole plane, so any seam that was not feathered wide enough telegraphs once the sun moves. The fix is to widen and re-feather those joints, then re-texture the full plane so it reads as one surface.
Yes — commercial drywall and metal-stud framing for office fit-outs and tenant improvements, alongside our residential work. The Hancock Road corridor build-out has made this a growing part of what we do in the city.
Small patches typically start around $150–$300. A new-home punch list covering several rooms is priced as one job rather than per defect. Every number is confirmed in a free on-site estimate before any work starts.
